CRO Inc. has officially decided to sponsor professional drift driver Tetsuya Kume (TEAM BUZZBREAK DRIFT) for the 2026 D1 Grand Prix season.
In addition, our used car purchasing division, Car Match Anjo, will also participate as a supporting sponsor.
As preparations for the 2026 season begin, we visited Mr. Kume to discuss his racing career, future goals, and the passion he brings to drift competition.
Born in Aichi Prefecture, Mr. Kume has over 13 years of drifting experience and competed in the full 2025 D1 Grand Prix season.
At Ebisu Circuit in particular, he recorded impressive qualifying scores in the 97-point range, demonstrating both stability and aggressive driving that left a strong impression.
During our interview, one phrase he repeatedly emphasized stood out:
"Enjoy the Challenge!"
Rather than focusing solely on results, he continues to embrace growth even under pressure and adversity. His mindset extends beyond competition and has the power to inspire many people.
CRO Inc. primarily supports Toyota’s new vehicle development projects, specializing in electronic systems and advanced safety technology project management.
